She emphasized her dedication, stating, “My intent is to continue working on behalf of the children, youth and families of this community.” In addition, she expressed that her request for a pay increase was not tied to a specific figure, allowing the council to determine what is appropriate.

The CSC has been under scrutiny for its management of taxpayer funds, especially following the board’s recent approval of its first property tax increase in September, which is expected to generate over $9 million in annual revenue.
