Volunteers Needed for 30th Annual Super Clean Sweep in Tallahassee
Mark your calendars, Tallahassee! The highly anticipated 30th Annual Super Clean Sweep is just around the corner, happening on Saturday, March 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This iconic community service event offers a fantastic opportunity for residents to come together and make a palpable difference in our beautiful city.
Join the Fun and Make a Difference
This year, volunteers can roll up their sleeves and get involved in a plethora of activities that are sure to benefit our neighborhoods. Whether you feel like picking up litter, planting trees, shrubs, or flowers, painting over graffiti, or even sharing your own ideas to enhance local green spaces, there’s a role for you! Your caring spirit and willingness to contribute are what make the Super Clean Sweep an amazing experience, and it’s a great way to give back to the community.
Getting Started: Supplies & Locations
Before heading out on the day of the event, volunteers will need to swing by the American Legion parking lot at Lake Ella for supply pick-up. This will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. so make sure to arrive early to gather everything you need. Don’t worry about the logistics; Keep Tallahassee Beautiful will provide all the necessary guidelines, bags, gloves, and designated clean-up locations.
How to Sign Up
If you’re as excited as we are to be a part of this year’s Super Clean Sweep, make sure to sign up by emailing keeptallahasseebeaut@comcast.net no later than February 28. When you email, be sure to include some important details like your contact name, phone number, email address, work location preference, the activity you plan to take on, the number of people in your group, and the category of participants, whether you’re an individual, part of a business, school, club, organization, association, or neighborhood group.
